Carlos Restrepo

Growing up in Colombia, Carlos tried his first bicycle race at age 14 with the encouragement of his older brother, who was also a racer. Carlos was hooked. He worked his way through the sport, and raced as a professional for six years in Colombia. Always determined to know everything possible about his sport, Carlos devoted most of his time studying all aspects: coaching, training, racing, history, biomechanics, bicycle building, etc. He received a degree in Physical Education from the University of Politecnico in Colombia, and brings over 20 years of experience in the bicycle industry to TARGETRAINING. He is a USCF Expert Level certified coach, and gives his clients a well-rounded structure for their training, whether they are aiming for their first mass-start event, or trying to break into the top-10 at national-caliber races.
