Family: I have two amazing little girls with a very understanding wife who appreciates and supports my need to be active and compete. They even get up at O'dark:30 to come cheer me on at races, and I love them all to pieces.
Athletic background:

• Swam for Greenwich High School 1988-1991 and Loyola University 1991-1995
• Competed in Adventure Races 1997-1998
• Road and mountain bike raced 2001-2006

Favorite part of triathlon: Having goals and training with great people, Encouraging others and sharing what I have learned, Making the most efficient use of limited training time, Racing faster and harder than you should and surprising yourself when it all comes together.
Race highlights:

• 3rd overall, Sherwood Island Sprint Triathlon 2011
• 4th overall and 2nd in AG, Stamford KIC IT Triathlon 2011 2010
• 3rd overall, Mossman Sprint Triathlon 2011
• 1st in AG, 6th overall, Greenwich Biathlon 2011
• 1st in AG and 8th overall, Stamford KIC IT Triathlon 2009

Key 2012 goals:

• To improve upon regional Olympic and Sprint race results from prior years, and maybe, just maybe, figure out how to win one of these things.
