Athletic background :

• Grew up playing soccer
• Started running in high school sophomore year
• Ran at Providence College -- 400m and 800m in spring, 600m in winter, ran cross country in the fall seasons

Favorite part of triathlon: Although my strength is probably the run since I enjoy not having to stress over it during a race, my favorite part is the bike, both for racing and training. And I love being part of a team and the triathlon community. I truly have a second family!
Race highlights:

• 5th at Duathlon World Champs in age group, 12th woman overall (2010)
• 1st overall – Park City Triathlon (2010)
• 2010 All American in Duathlon and Triathlon
• 2011 70.3 and USAT World Championship Qualifier 

Key 2012 goals:

• To place well at USAT Nationals
• Qualify for 70.3 World Championships, race at Rev3, Toughman, 70.3 Rhode Island 
• Duathlon Nationals
