Mitch West
Cycling Trainer
Mitch lives in Wilton with his incredibly patient wife, Karen, and two children, Andrew and Rachel. Mitch was born and raised in the great state of Michigan, attended the University of Michigan, and received his master’s degree in social work at the University of Pennsylvania. His athletic background was basketball and he did not pick up triathlon until his 30’s. Mitch has been on the TARGETRAINING tri team since it’s inception in 2007. Mitch is most proud of his qualifying for and racing in Kona in 2009 and 2010 as well as being an age-group All-American. As a coach, he is a firm believer that there are no shortcuts to success and it is only through hard work that one’s goals are achieved.
