Torr resides in NY State with his wife and son. After spending the better part of a decade racing up and down the East Coast as a Cat II road cyclist & semi-pro mountain bike racer, Torr moved off to Colorado to finish his degree in which he double majored in exercise physiology and psychology. While finishing his schooling, he made the transition to XC ski racing, rapidly improving and winning a gold medal in his first race. By the end of the season, Torr was named to the US Olympic Development Team. He also spent two years doing mountain search & rescue. After a successful few seasons of ski racing, he found his way back to the East Coast and began doing some post-graduate work in physical therapy, ultimately moving into the sports conditioning & training field. During this time he participated in a wide variety of sports including cyclocross & XC running, where he finished as high as 4th in the NYS Championship. His current passion is competitive endurocross motorcycle racing, where he is the 2012 Northeast 30+ Expert Champion.
