Eneas Freyre

A resident of Norwalk, CT with his wife, Nancy, and two young sons, Eneas has competed as a professional cyclist in the US and abroad. He continues to actively compete against top-level professionals and in national age group competitions. Eneas's aggressive style of racing and determination have earned him numerous wins and top placements in national championships and other notable events.

He's recently taken up duathlon and running, claiming back-to-back duathlon age group national championship titles in 2009 and 2010, and being named USAT Duathlon All American multiple times. As a runner, Eneas has won and made regular podium appearances at New England middle and long distance road races. And he's taken the overall title in the 2011 Boston Buildup race series.

Under his guidance, Eneas’s clients have achieved personal bests in such events as the UCI Pro Tour-rated Ford Tour of Georgia and Amgen Tour of California; Mt Washington Hill Climb; and regional events. One of his most successful athletes to date is Alejandro Acton, who raced in 2007 for the Colavita Olive Oil-Sutter Home Wines-Cooking Light Professional Cycling Team and who won Most Aggressive Rider at the 2007 Tour of California. Eneas heads the fitness and endurance training programs for TARGETRAINING Westport and Greenwich.
