Freyre wins inaugural Iron Time Trial

In what was easily the longest race that I have competed in since racing full time over 5 years ago, the 112mile Iron Time Trial in New Paltz NY provided an interesting challenge to say the least.
The course was a 4 lap affair with 2 major climbs on each lap and a total of 11,000 feet of climbing!
Of course I chose to ride my trusty P3 with full disc and 1080 wheel package on a course that has almost NO flat roads. OK maybe not the best wheel choice with so much climbing but it made for some interesting bike handling on the descents.
In the end the P3 came through for me winning the race in a time of 5:42 and 15min ahead of 2nd place.
