CT State Championship Course Destination Ride 7/5/10

The ride was at this year's CT State road race championship course (Tokeneke Classic Road Race in August).
This is a rolling 22 mile course around the Barkhamsted Reservoir in East Hartland, CT. The goal was to complete 2 laps of this demanding course. Each lap features 2100 feet of climbing!
Carlos was the ride leader. And since he forgot this bike shoes it kept him close as he could only push, not pull, on the hills!
We started out with a beautifully clear 75 degree morning that soon became 85 degrees then 90+ degrees. But that didn't stop anyone from having a great ride.
Since I had to get back early, I took a few pictures for the club members that had to miss the ride.
