Dark Mornings bring new training focus to TT members

Despite the near record temperatures this week, the lack of sun light for our 5:45AM Tuesday outdoor cycling sessions abruptly reminded me that fall is just around the corner. To adapt to the lack of day light this past Tuesday we opted for 1 less interval at Sherwood Island and began the session indoors at our TT facility with a 20min focused stretching and core strengthening routine. Summer training can take its toll on the CNS and adding in extra rest days, stretching and core conditioning can help extend summer form well into the fall. We’ll be doing the same routine on Thursday before heading down to Longshore for the brick session.
